What to bring to the Part 107 test (and what you can't)
Bring
- A valid government-issued photo ID with your signature (driver's license or passport). Non-US citizens bring a passport plus a government-issued ID.
- Proof of address (such as a utility bill) if your ID doesn't show your current address. Your certificate is mailed there.
- Optional: a basic calculator (add, subtract, multiply, divide only) and a magnifier.
Leave behind
- Your phone
- Notes, cheat sheets or any other documents
- Advanced calculators (they can be taken away)
The testing center gives you
A pencil, scratch paper, and the Airman Knowledge Testing Supplement, the book of chart excerpts and figures the questions refer to. So it isn't open book: you can't bring your own notes, only use the supplement they provide.
See where you stand. The free 20-question diagnostic covers every test area and shows your weak topics.
